Active Steering

Includes power steering with Active Steering. Active Steering changes the steering ratio (amount of steering wheel rotation required to turn a given corner) when vehicle speed changes. During low speed maneuvering, steering response is relatively quick, compared to steering response during high speed maneuvers. This feature can also maintain the vehicle's directional stability by making steering corrections that keep the vehicle on the path intended by the driver during such circumstances as when braking on a surface with uneven traction. (Servotronic vehicle speed-sensitive power assist is also included in this option, replacing the standard engine speed-sensitive system.)
